Arrived home safely from sunny, summery (read: challengingly warm) Brisbane tonight, around 11pm. This post is being written after midnight, so will appear as a Friday post. Above pics are (self) portraits of my sister Liz and I. The one where both of us are wearing glasses was taken today at the cinema, about 5 hours before we headed to the aiport to drop me off. Both my girl and I left home for our interstate trips on Monday morning (Oct 6). My flight didn't leave until 2pm, but I left early so I could spend some time experiencing an airline LOUNGE at Melbourne airport. I paid $35 for the privilege of the 'perks', but moreso the experience & I took lots of photo's! I arrived in Brisbane at 3pm-ish local time and my sister and I had 4 lovely days doing what was good for our female (sisterly) souls. (Btw -our last meeting was 16 months ago). We dined out for brekky's, lunches & dinners, saw two foreign films (Lebanese & French), one Hollywood (today), did some shopping, had coffee's, watched Foxtel and chatted! I was thinking of putting all of my photo's together in one or two You Tube video's? I have work tomorrow.. then I'll be preparing for my girls arrival home from Canberra in the early evening. The buses will be heading off around 6am.... (gasp!), how tired will she be being on a bus all day?! It's been a chunky week and an extraordinary school holidays. I should get to bed now. Welcome home and looking forward to pictures. It's Thanksgiving in Canada this weekend - and its a long weekend. Lots of family get togethers with both of our families - really looking forward to it. Will have to charge up my camera to get some pictures to share as well. Take care.
james has taken alyssa with him to get some groceries for me.. so the house is pretty darn quiet. ^^ thought id drop bye again and this time leave a comment!
We both saw our sisters on the same day! My sis came down from act and stayed with us till wednesday afternoon.. tia was sad to see her go (especially since i asked her if she would take Tia to go see beverly hill chihuahua movie) the bad side of it was that dinner one was chinese takeaway and dinner two was dominos pizza, garlic bread and chicken kickers x.x anyways im sure u had a great time catching up with your sister... its nice to be with them for a few days.. long enough to enjoy it and not too long that we start clashing.. looking forward to those lounge photos!! hope jenna enjoyed canberra (even if it was a sleep on a camping/gym map) howd the car service at tullmarine go?
